Objective

To extract the data fromOracle Fusion/EBS R12, we migrated the data intoa Postgres/SQL Server data warehouse using Python and Microsoft SSIS for ETL pipelines. We then generate reports from the data warehouse based on our client's requirements.

Responsibilities

Ihave developed and maintained complex SQLqueries fordiverse business requirements and data analysis tasks. My collaborative approach involves working with cross-functional teams to comprehend data needsand deliveroptimal SQL solutionsfor specific businesschallenges.
To design and implement databases, and effectively optimizing query performance and reducing response time. Through rigorous data validation and testing, I ensure the accuracy and reliability of SQL query results.
Develop numerous ETL pipelines to load data into data warehouses using Python. These pipelines have diverse sources, including Oracle DB, PostgresDB, JSON inputs, CSV (Oracle Fusion BICC Extracts), and Excel. The pipelines efficiently fetch and transform data from their sources, primarily utilizing SQL queries and pandas functions.
Additionally, I have leveraged Python to communicate with Oracle Fusion BICC through SOAP connectors to collect informationand monitor the status of executed data extract jobsin BICC. Moreover, I have written scripts to download the extracts from OCI (Oracle Cloud Storage) and UCM (Universal Content Management), Oracle BI Publisher through SOAP APIs for use in ETL Pipelines.
Version controlling isan essential part of my Python development workflow,and I rely onGit extensively to manage and track changes in the projects I build.
With expertise in Power BI, I've created interactive dashboards and visualizations that offer actionable insights to key decision-makers. Ensured data accuracy through thorough data analysis and cleansing, while effectively resolving issues through root cause analysis. My reports feature sophisticated capabilities, including drill-through and graphical elements, sourced from both databases and SSAS (Tabular Cubes).

Monitor and analyze the performances of various components using Prometheus. To write Alerting and recording rules in Prometheus.
Instrumented various components with Prometheus to fetch the user defined metrics.
Creation of Elastalert Rules for any spikes, anomalies in data of Elastic Search.
Creation of visualization (graphs) in Kibana for the logs in Elastic Search.
Generate Grafana dashboards based on the metrics present in the Prometheus so that customer can derive meaningful information regarding the servers from the graphs.
