Position Overview:
As a Java Developer specializing in Spring Boot and Microservices, you will be responsible for
designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable software solutions. The ideal
candidate will have a strong foundation in Java development, hands-on experience with Spring Boot,
and a solid understanding of Microservices architecture.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and design software
solutions.
2. Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
3. Design and implement Microservices architecture to enhance system modularity and
maintainability.
4. Write clean and maintainable code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best
practices.
5. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side
logic.
6. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
7. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
8. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing
and deployment.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and actively contribute to continuous
improvement within the development team.

10. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices.
3. Solid understanding of Microservices architecture principles and best practices.
4. Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
5. Proficiency in database design and SQL, with experience working with relational databases.
6. Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like
Kubernetes.
7. Strong understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
8. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
10. Ability to work in an agile development environment.

Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
2. Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., Kafka) and event-driven architecture.
3. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
4. Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
