 An Automotive manufacturer specialized in making safety cables, transmission parts and advanced braking systems. It is using Power BI as reporting tool with Oracle EBS, files etc as source system.

Responsibilities

·        Creating reports using various sources (Oracle, SQL server, Excel)

·        Creating Dataset as per requirement.

·        Creating Data Models, building relationships among fact and dimension

·        Transforming Data in Power Query Editor

·        Building complex calculations and measures using DAX language to bring meaningful insights from the data

·        Configuring apps and sharing workspace as per requirement.

·        Implementing RLS.

·        Documenting developed solutions, including data models, report specifications, and user guides

2. Project

 A retail store chain specialized in the manufacturing of bags, backpacks & fashion accessories. It requires finance reports to understand their business and to take appropriate business decisions. It is using Power BI as a reporting tool.

·        Finance Reports design and development in Power BI as per requirement

·        Performing data cleansing and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy

·        Creating data Model

·        Writing DAX for various measures as part of report development.

·        Implementing security in reports

·        Validating the data of the reports by writing SQL’s on the database.

·        Creating documentation for developed solutions, including data models, report specifications, and user guides.
