Oracle DBA with Flex

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Flex, PL/SQL development, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle databases, particularly within the context of JDE (JD Edwards) systems.

Responsibilities:

Database Management: Administer and maintain Flex databases, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.

PL/SQL Development: Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot PL/SQL code to support business requirements and enhance database functionality.

Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance and proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks. Implement optimization techniques to improve system efficiency and response times.

Database Security: Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality. Manage user access and permissions according to best practices and regulatory requirements.

Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies. Ensure data availability and integrity through regular backups and testing of recovery procedures.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and business analysts to support database-related initiatives and projects.

Troubleshooting: Provide timely resolution to database-related issues and incidents. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.
