Data Architect

8 – 10 years of experience in Banking industry and conversant with data flows between process and systems
Proven experience in architecting and implementing Big Data Platform(Data Lake, Data Hub, Data Lakehouse), Data Warehouse Platform, Master Data Management, Data Integration and/or database solutions.
Possess in-depth knowledge of and able to consult on various latest data technologies.
Strong knowledge of industry best practices around data architecture, data life cycle management on both on prem and cloud based solutions.
Strong analytical skills are essential, enabling easy interpretation and analysis of large volumes of data. 
A comprehensive understanding of the principles of and best practices behind data engineering, and the supporting technologies such as RDBMS, NoSQL, Cache & In-memory stores. 
Experience of architecting data solution in on-premise data platforms. 
A comprehensive understanding of data lake and warehousing and data transformation (ETL or ELT) processes and the supporting technologies.
Knowledge in designing and working with Cloudera and Talend (chosen tech stack for project Orion).
Excellent problem solving and data modelling skills (logical, physical, sematic and integration models) including; normalization, OLAP / OLTP principles and entity relationship analysis.
Experience of mapping key Enterprise data entities to business capabilities and applications.
A strong knowledge of horizontal data lineage from source to output.
Excellent communication and presentational skills, confident and methodical approach, and able to work within a team environment.
