Required Skills
Minimum Requirements:
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
• 4+ years software development experience with micro service development using Spring Boot (JOOQ, Flyway, Gradle, etc.).
• 4+ years engineering experience with operations, design and architecture of cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in AWS technology stack (ECS, Containers, CloudFront, IAM, etc.)
• Experience building Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) systems (GitLab preferred)
• Experience with deployment automation/configuration management (Terraform preferred)
• Track record of building reusable scripts, tooling and automation solutions
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.)
• Extensive experience deploying, operating and debugging server software on Linux
• Experience with databases such as AuroraDB, DynamoDB, MySQL
• Experience working across teams and with remote teams
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills for interacting persuasively with product/design/business stakeholders.
Nice to Haves:
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and New Relic
• Experience with Kinesis, Kafka
• Knowledge of performance optimization approaches and technologies for web applications
• Experience with GraphQL and/or Apollo
