June 2021 - Present HMI Application Developer Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt Ltd, Bangalore (Formerly RBEI) Project: HMI Base Technologies: C++, Qt/QML Tools: Qt Creator, Git, Jenkins Environment: Linux, Windows 10 Details: HMI Base Team is the point of contact for all HMI project teams that use Qt as their development framework. The Team develops framework & widgets that are used by the project teams.

Responsibilities/Contribution:

• Involved in developing/enhancing the features of Qt framework that uses Bosch proprietary ASF (Automotive Service Framework) Vamsi Krishna Garla HMI Application Developer – C++, Qt/QML .

• Developed various reference applications and features that showcase the team’s capabilities across the Bosch CM domain.

• Involved in development of various features like Statusbar, Translation, Dynamic icon handler for statusbar, pureview test server tool, etc.

• Also involved in benchmarking the various HMI tools and their capabilities.

• Active in Code Reviews, team interviews, department extra curriculars. Oct 2019 – June 2021 Machine Learning & Big Data Engineer Huawei Technologies India, Bangalore. (Payroll: CTS) Project: Huawei Video App, Video Meta Data Extraction Technologies: Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Python, Open CV, Big Data, Hadoop, ML, Hive, Spark, Scala, Tools: Jupyter Notebook, Intelli J, Jenkins, Tortoise Git, Huawei Wiki, TCC Environment: Linux, Windows 10 Details: Huawei Video Meta Data Extraction project aims to extract meta info of video like audio language, genre, cast from videos using ML/DL techniques. Huawei Video App is Video Recommendation app like YouTube that supports long/short/small videos which is specific to Huawei handsets.

Responsibilities/Contribution:

• Developed Video downloader & meta data extractor tool in python within 1 month

• Worked on Audio language Detection module that uses ASR, Kaldi, pocket Sphinx models

• Part of Video Key Frames Extraction and object/person detection module using OpenCV

• Using ETL processes developed and maintained big data pipeline

• Handled E2E flow of process involving Requirement gathering, Designing, Development, Testing & Deploying

• Involved in performance optimization & production deployment tasks

• Ported 30+ recommendation recalls from HQ to local.

Tools: Qt Creator, Jenkins, Git, Rally Environment: Windows 10 Details: Infinite Video Platform (IVP) is flagship DTH model of Cisco Video Technologies, in which infinite platform experience is provided to DTH providers which allows end customer to watch TV services through Set-Top Box or Android Devices or Online (Web). .

Responsibilities/contribution :

• Handle daily activities of feature development.

• Analyze, Debug, Fix, Test and release bugs.

• Write unit test cases

• Developed Disaster Recovery Management from scratch.

• Involved in developing ABR Download feature.

• Solved many legacy bugs.

• Conducted trainings on Qt/QML.
