Description:

Electricity North West Limited operates as an electricity distributor for homes and businesses in the North West England. The company owns, invests in, operates, and maintains the network of poles, wires, transformers, and cables, which carry electricity from the national grid to 2.4 million premises and 5 million customers. It operates through a network of approximately 13,000 km of overhead lines and 44,000 km of underground cables. The company was incorporated in 1989 and is based in Warrington, the United Kingdom. Electricity North West Limited is a subsidiary of North West Electricity Networks Plc.

 
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implementing Power BI reports Effective dashboards after gathering and translating end user requirement.
• Imported data from different sources like Microsoft SQL Server, Excel and SharePoint in Power BI to generate reports.
• Involving in data preparation, based on user requirement manipulating the data set in power pivot.
• Generated Computed Tables, Measures by using DAX in Power BI.
• Created DAX Queries to generate computed Columns in Power BI
• Created reports with different visualizations like Card, Line, Pie Chart, Donut Chart, Bar, Tornado, Table etc.
• Implemented Row Level Security in Power BI to restrict data access for the users.
• Published and shared the reports by creating Apps in Power BI Service, Designed and developed the application as per the user’s requirements.

Description:

Avalara, Inc. is a privately held company with headquarters on Bainbridge Island, WA is developing             Cloud-based sales tax and compliance systems, founded in 2004. Avalara is one of the six Certified Service Providers are available for retailers. This project involved in creating various types of simple

and complex reports based on the business requirements using Power BI Tool.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyzing the business requirements.
• worked on the Power Bi reports & dashboards with SQL Server/Tabular SSAS sources
• Used Table/ Matrix/ Trend Lines/ Bar/ Card/ Gauge/ Slicers etc. and Custom Visualizations.
• Comfortable in working with filters/calculated columns/measures/relationships and transformations of Edit Query section.
• Published/shared the reports by creating Content Pack/Sharing the pbix file.
• Worked on On-Premises Gateway to refresh the data sources/creating a live connection with SSAS Tabular Model.
• Created New Calculated Columns and Calculated Measures using DAX Expressions.
• Created User Groups and Implemented Row Level Security to restrict the data access to the user.
• Published Power BI reports from Power BI Desktop to Power BI Service.
