MuleSoft Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Setup (Design and implement) and support highly available middleware infrastructure (MuleSoft and MQ)
  • Deployment strategies, Mule Clustering, Load Balancing,
  • Configure API manager including API policies.
  • Runtime tuning of JVM, GC, and MuleSoft runtimes.
  • Partner with Architects, Developers, Project Managers, and other engineers to implement middleware solutions and support Business requirements.
  • Performance monitoring and tuning; environment monitoring; Managing API assets: infrastructure, platform, accounts, logs, ESB components; Check server health; check automated log rotations and archiving status; check server logs; check server performance (uptime, performance logs, JVM heap logs, core server dumps, O/S event logs); check status on ports, scheduler, monitoring transactions.
  • Creates and maintains system and procedural documentation.
  • BAU support including incident and change management.
  • On- call support

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with Middleware Technologies (MuleSoft and MQ administration experience is a must need skill set. )
  • Experience in packaging and deploying MuleSoft applications.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools like GitHub, Maven, Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc
  • Experience working with Mule Connectors ( Standard & Custom).
  • Experience troubleshooting and performance tuning of MuleSoft and other middleware components, should be able to lead and run triage calls.
  • Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
  • Have strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, IT governance and operations knowledge of software, and application dependencies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
