Job Responsibilities:

Consulting with data management teams to get a big-picture idea of the company’s data storage needs.

Presenting the company with warehousing options based on their storage needs.

Designing and coding the data warehousing system to desired company specifications.

Conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted.

Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment.

Testing the new storage system once all the data has been transferred.

Troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Providing maintenance support.

Write store procedures for effective insertion and updtation of data into the tables.

Use complex sub-queries and joins in select statements

Extensive coding in Oracle forms/reports using PL/SQL

Use SQL loader to automate load of data from text files to Oracle tables

Use SQL loader to load the data from CSV to Oracle tables

Extensively use PL/SQL for coding and writing complex stored procedure.

Tune performance of SQL, PL/SQL and tables

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Experience using Toad to connect to Oracle databases

Ability to create/tune complex views and procedures and triggers with materialized views

Experience in Oracle PL/SQL development 5 years

Create Oracle DB, Stored procedures and functions

Experience in .ETL development 5 Years

Good understanding of how the web works conceptually, including but not limited to technologies and concepts like HTTP, REST, SOAP/RESTful web services, JSON, asynchronous processing, responsive design;

Familiarity with software development practices such as agile software development, continuous integration, continuous delivery

Experience with scheduled jobs in Oracle

Proven work experience as an ETL developer.

Strong project management skills.

Ability to analyze a company’s big-picture data needs.

Clear communication skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
