Description

Manage a team of engineers developing security solutions across fintech customer Client products and services
Design and help build codebase-wide protections and mitigations for security flaws
Influence the design and implementation of upcoming products and services with security in mind
Support, grow, and lead a high performing team responsible for infrastructure as code services that protect the data of 500K+ plus users
Build systems that are used by the software engineering team, both in our backend infrastructure and across our family of products
Introduce Continuous security in the pipeline CI-CS-CD, and mature SSDLC with security testing, proactive remediation, sustainable application security processes, patterns and trends, security sign off and change management
Build and operationalize Security Test cases and Security Acceptance Criteria and provide security sign off on all engineering implementations
Provide guidance to build security first mindset and mentor the engineers on the team
Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of the cyber threat landscape and how those threats could impact the client
Design innovative security controls to help the client manage risk.
Advocate for security industry & regulatory compliance (SOC2 PCI-DSS, ISO27001, GDPR, MTL Regulatory among others)
Develop strong relationships and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across Client’s Security, Engineering, Product, Customer Service, Fraud Risk Operations and Data.
Partner with Client’s security team to conduct regular security assessments on new and existing products and perform code reviews to proactively find potential vulnerabilities.
Hunt for internal threats in our corporate and production infrastructure to proactively identify malicious activity that we are not currently able to detect
Participate with Client security in threat modeling, scenario planning and operationalize Vulnerability Management Lead effectively through outcomes and deliver against SLA’s , KPIs and KRI”s rather than against tasks
