Project #9: PRAXAIR Surface Technologies

Client:Praxair, Inc, US.

Environment: Oracle Data Integrator 11g, Windows XP.

Role: Senior Data Engineer II

Description:

Praxair, Inc. is an American worldwide industrial gases company. It is the largest industrial gases company in North and South America. The project involves in maintaining various custom processed, OOTB reports and Production Support in Financials, Order Management, Supply Chain Management, Proc & Spend and Oracle Work in Progress Modules.

Responsibilities:

·        Analyzing and resolving data and design issues in both ETL and OBIEE.

·        ETL changes like enhancements to the existing OBIA/Custom mappings and development of new mappings using ODI 11g.

·        End to end maintenance of OBIA applications.

·        Applying the patches as per the requirement to Non Prod Environment and preparing the documents.

Project #8: ATCO-WAME

Client:ATCO, US.

Environment: Oracle Data Integrator 12C, Windows XP.

Role: Senior Software Engineer

Description:

ATCO Ltd., operating as the ATCO Group, is a publicly-traded Canadian engineering, logistics and energy holding company based in Calgary, Alberta. ATCO's subsidiaries include electric utilities, natural gas production and distribution companies, and construction companies. The project main aim is to compare their utilities usage within the states in the country and maintaining their product list.

Responsibilities:

·        Analyzed Functional documents and created Technical design documents based on the client requirements.

·        Involved in Topology configuration to establish source and target connections.

·        Data will come from two source system’s Maximo and GIS, done Reconciliation process at ODI level using some keys and sent the matched records to both the systems back in the form of csv files.

·        Created ODI Interfaces, Procedures, Packages for Data Loading from Source Maximo and GIS to stage tables and stage tables to Target csv files.

·        Transformed data from stage tables to Target csv files.

·        Sent unmatched records to ATCO team in the form of ERROR report.

·        This is a one-time activity and we have done each and every process manually.

·        Migrated the code from One environment to another (DEV to UAT).
