Java Scala Developer

 We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to help build and maintain our growing set of backend microservices and in-browser user experiences for our gaming platform. Working with the rest of our development team, expect to design and implement flexible solutions to emerging requirements across multiple technologies in a fast-paced agile environment.

What you’ll do:

 Design & develop software solutions to application and business needs

 Collaborate with team members on planning, code review, and support

 Provide reasonable estimates on high-level tasks based on design scope

 Prioritize and address individual workload of assigned issues

 Evaluate new technologies and frameworks for adoption

 Take ownership of components and projects through their entire lifecycle

What you’ll bring:

 Experience with OO and functional programming (Scala and Typescript preferred)

 Experience with frontend web frameworks and delivery pipelines (React ecosystem)

 Knowledge of web application and microservice architectures

 Familiarity with GraphQL as a data modeling and query language

 Understanding of browser rendering and network request lifecycles

 Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases

 Proficiency with distributed version control systems (git) for collaboration

 Understanding of containers and deployment in cloud environments

 Ability to conduct effective requirements gathering and analysis

 Desire to take on new challenges and expand your skills

 Initiative to turn high-level requirements into concrete solutions

 Strong communication skills for a remote and distributed environment
