Required Skills
Responsibilities:
Responsible for handling enhancements and bug fixes on existing ASP.NET websites and new projects
o Interface with business analysts to discuss timelines and clarify requirements as it pertains to new
projects and/or enhancements and bug fixes.
o Research and find the feasibility of new technologies and architectures where there may be a need
o Approve recommendations for new code standards
o, Assist in designing and planning out solutions for new project requests and future enhancements.
o, Assist in providing development estimates based on technical cost.
o Assist in building services by designing endpoint and structures
o Provide guidance and examples of methods to improve the architecture of existing code
o Provide guidance on performance enhancements to existing code
o Use profiling tools to increase performance/efficiency in applications/APIs
o Improve security in applications and communication with APIs
o Conduct code reviews and help work towards the peer review process
o Enforce unit testing
o Assist in database design and structures where applicable
o Provide technical advice, coaching, mentoring to other developers
o Can assist with preparing software builds via Git Merging/Branching
o Can effectively resolve Git merge conflicts
o Work across multiple applications
o Assist in documenting where needed
o Communicate well with the rest of the staff and promote an open collaborative code environment
where all technical ideas are welcome to be evaluated
o Work closely and communicate well with the Manager on the team and other senior staff members
o Available to assist in the interview process for Software Engineer 1-3 positions
Qualifications:
Required:
● o C# or VB.NET and .NET Framework
● o College Degree Desired
● o Self-Starter/Motivated
● o Strong Communicator
● o Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of SQL and SQL querying
● o ASP.NET experience
● o ASP.NET WebAPI experience
●
Preferred:
● Cloud platform understanding especially with Microsoft Azure (ADO, CI/CD, containers).
