Job Description

One of our customer is looking for a talented Technical Manager with 10+ years of experience to join their growing product development team and play a crucial role in driving success.

This is a 70% Management Role and 30% Technical Role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain a clear development roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
  • Advocate for the technical team in front of management, clearly communicating project status, risks, and dependencies.
  • Champion a culture of technical excellence by fostering knowledge sharing, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges, providing solutions and support to unblock your team.
  • Ensure the team adheres to established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams to build a robust and efficient development workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Well versed with various reports like team performance reports (utilizing metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and code coverage), project status reports (tracking progress against timelines, milestones, and resource allocation), and risk assessments (identifying potential technical challenges and mitigation strategies).
  • Proven experience leading and motivating high-performing software development teams.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a technical leadership role (e.g., Senior Software Engineer, Lead Developer).
  • Extensive experience with .NET Core, Angular, SQL (PostgreSQL and MySQL), and AWS.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Experience with Cloud-based development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for quality code and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Should be willing to start the work in a week after selection.
  • Should be willing to travel to Customer office near Coimbatore for 3-4 days a month (travel and accomodation expenses will be taken care by customer)
  • Should be flexible in timings enough to work with both the offshore development team, UK development team and the US management team.
  • Resource should be in your employee roles (not contract/freelance/to be hired candidate) as proof need to be submitted to customer along with a NDA between us.
