Node.JS Developer

We are looking for a NodeJS Web Application Developer responsible for developing REST
APIs. Primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance
and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Responsibilities
● Developing NodeJS based backend applications
● Delivering well written REST APIs: API Definitions, end-to-end service design and implementation
● Writing good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented, unit-tested code Mandatory Skills
● Strong skills in NodeJS, with good knowledge of Express Framework
● Good understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jade or EJS)
● Good Understanding of differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimising output to match the specific platform
● Strong coding/programming & application development experience
● Excellent problem solving abilities. Very good HackerRank/HackerEarth score will be a plus
● Good knowledge of working with NoSQL databases such as Mongo
● Professional, precise communication skills
● Working knowledge of Git
Optional Skills
● Knowledge of working with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
● Knowledge of any ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries that works with NodeJS
● Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
● Knowledge of working with cloud environments such as AWS
● Knowledge of DevOps tools & practices
Educational Qualifications and Experience
● B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech in Computer science/Information science/Information
Technology
● 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in NodeJS & Express framework
