Description: OBP (Open Banking Platform) is an initiative in PNC to securely expose PNC financial data through web API’s to third party customers and Micro services is the primary design architecture followed to build scalable, robust, independent and secured API's using Spring Boot, REST,OAUTH 2.0, Java/J2EE, and other relevant technologies.
Responsibilities: Participate in the Software development life cycle starting from design phase to the implementation phase for the PNC – OBP SDE
project; Participate in Sprint planning meeting for analyzing the Business Requirements provided by the client and product owners; Analyze Functional requirements and designing and creating end point URIs; Implement REST based web services required for the Mobile Applications;Work on integration of the Web Services using REST, SOAP and Enterprise Java Beans; Performing technical Assessment of legacy systems and solutions for improvements Conduct Back-end Unit/Functional Testing using Postman and SOAPUI; Develop applications using IntelliJ IDEA and deploying in Apache Tomcat Server and Websphere Server;
Inventory (Physical & Perpetual) System
Description: Physical inventory system helps Sherwin business physically count its entire inventory on hand and its value. A physical inventory process at year end and half year term feeds “Physical Inventory Analysis” reports to business and audit teams. It is mandated by financial accounting rules or the tax regulations to place an accurate value on the inventory, or the business may need to count inventory so component parts or raw materials can be restocked. Perpetual inventory states what is at the store at the moment and also tracks all the activity to and from the store to update inventory.
Responsibilities: Built reusable code and libraries for future use. Used Ajax programming for dynamic web pages and faster responses. Effectively driven cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements. Designed and reviewed single page application using Angular 2 for inventory administration. This helps in managing stores that wanted to participate in inventory program at year end. Helped inventory systems to migrate to 6 digit alpha numeric cost center including past data.
Designed and implemented multi-threaded process for costing algorithm for processing monthly and yearly sales up to 7 million within run cycle.Improved performance of queries with Oracle tables and materialized view access for costing process. Hands on knowledge of JavaScript works such as Angular. Prioritized and managed multiple tasks across multiple projects, under tight deadlines. Created clean, precise browser-compatible code.
