Project: Manage Monitoring Resources With GitOps+Terraform

Details:
➔ To have the re-usability of each monitoring resource definition which is going to be deployed in multiple locations with a different set of parameters.
➔ The interface to manage this solution should be the GitLab to have control over modification and a single source of state for the actual resources.
➔ Import the existing resources created outside of this solution with minimal efforts

Role & Responsibilities:
➔ With the use of the existing Terraform provider to perform CRUD operations create a repo structure to have re-usability.
➔ Setup GitLab CI pipelines for validation of each MR against the standards/rules defined by the requirements and to do the deployment.
➔ Create automation to import the existing resources with Terraformer.
➔ While importing, overcome the complexity of deployment network and deployment using multiple tools
