Software engineer with 3 years 6 months of experience in mobile app development. I have worked in Java, Kotlin, and Dart languages. I have made applications in Android as well as in Flutter. I have made e-commerce, cab booking and event booking, food delivery applications. I have also worked on chat, calling functionality in applications.
Project Experience
GDay Hive : 1 year
This is the event creation application, in which users can create the events, add/remove members, and assign the tasks to members according to the selected subscription plan. In this user can also do a group call as well as one-one call. Users can chat in events and in one-one. In call users can share the screen, record the call, mute the call.
Responsibilities:
In this project my responsibility was to build an app in flutter.
I have managed the whole app’s flow.
I have designed the app’s UI.
I have also managed social logins like apple, google, Facebook.
I have also integrated the whole app’s API calls and display the data in the app.
I have implemented the chat functionality with the use of Socket.io
In chat I have implemented forward messages, delete messages for me/for all, reply message, copy messages, edit message functionalities.
In chat I have also implemented the media, .doc files sharing feature, and the user's current location sharing feature.
Integrated both calling functionalities audio and video calls.
I have integrated the call functionality for group calls as well as for one-one calls. For calling functionality I have used the Agora plugin.
In calling functionality I have also integrated screen share, call recording, mute call, video on/off options in call.
For screen sharing I have implemented this feature at native side and then use it in flutter as there is no flutter plugin provided by Agora for it.
Also implemented the VOIP call notifications for both
Android/iOS platforms if the app is in background or closed.
Managed app redirection on notification click.
I have also implemented the sync contact feature, get contacts from the phone's contacts list and store it on the server, show the contacts in app for starting a new chat, add into events etc.
For sync contacts feature I have used local database to speed
up the process and reduce the process time.
GO Ride / Go Drive : 7 months
This is the cab booking application, in which users can book the cab and the nearby drivers get the customer’s requests and confirm the ride. In this app users can track the driver’s location, can select the cab according to their comfort, it also shows the rate of the ride. On the other side, drivers can accept or cancel the ride, and track the user’s pick up location. For booking and tracking implementation used socket.io
Responsibilities:
In this project my responsibility was to build an app for the android platform using Kotlin.
I have managed app’ UI as well as API calls using Retrofit for both apps.
Also integrated social login like google, Facebook.
For cab booking flow I have used socket.io at both app sides.
I have managed the flow of cab booking in which user can select the type of cabs, select the pick-up/ drop off points, calculated ride fare, show the locations, routes on google Map, and after a cab driver accept the ride request the user also can track the location of that driver on map by moving cab icon.
At the driver's side I have implemented the features where drivers can accept/cancel ride requests. After accepting a ride request, the driver can see the pick-up point, distance on google Map.
Manage google map, google directions API, google way point APIs to calculate distance, show routes on map.
Manage app’s cab booking flow as well as tracking flow.
In this I have also given the LTR as well as RTL support for Arabic language.
Also implemented the normal call, text messages functionalities in the app.
Graham / Graham Vendor : 7 months
In the “Graham” app users can order food from the listed restaurants, select the option for pickup/ dine in for that food, can also book salon appointments and can select the different types of facilities provided by that salon. Users also can make an appointment for a lawyer. In this app users can pay via cards or can select COD options. It also shows the user's payment transactions, booking history, status of appointments, orders. In the “Graham Vendor” app the vendor can see it’s order/appointments, can cancel/accept the order/appointments, and can see the history of orders/appointments.
