Description

Working for one of the top US health insurance clients. It is a development project which involves    construction of a warehouse and also included migration activities from Data stage and Oracle to Informatica and Teradata data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Ø Done the analysis on the existing system implemented in ETL Oracle data warehouse and migrated to Informatica and Tera Data Data Warehouse.

Ø Created Functional design Document (FDD), Technical design document (TDD), Source to Target Mapping (STM) Documents and estimation for the code delivery.

Ø Allocation of tasks to the team members and tracking of the tasks every day.

Ø Conducting daily status meetings with onsite.

Ø Documented Mapping and Transformation details, user requirements, implementation plan and schedule.

Ø Designed and developed efficient Error Handling methods and implemented throughout the mappings. Responsible for Data quality analysis to determine cleansing requirements.

Ø Worked with several facets of the Informatica Power Center tool - Source Analyzer, Data Warehousing Designer, Mapping & Mapplet Designer and Transformation Designer. Development of Informatica mappings for better performance.

Ø Creating Unit test cases and working on test cases to make successful.

Ø Deploying code to stage environment and working on QA and BAT issues.

Ø Involved in Production issue fixing.

B)     Cigna Data Analytics

Description

Cigna is an American worldwide health services organization. Its insurance subsidiaries are major providers of medical, dental, disability , life and accident insurance related products and services. Cigna also offers Medicare and Medicaid products and health, life and accident insurance coverage primarily to individuals in the U.S. and selected international markets.

This Project is basically about constructing a Corporate Cigna Warehouse (CCW) which holds data of various modules from different sources. This project deals in providing various products like Life insurance, Service Providers, Medical Claims and Pharmacy benefits to its Customers.

Responsibilities:

Ø Developed complex SQL queries using Teradata and oracle SQL.

Ø Involved in unit, integration, system and performance testing levels.

Ø Responsible for enhancement and performance tuning to existing SQL queries.

Ø Automated the audit process and capturing the statistics in different environments.

Ø Designed and scheduled many ESP jobs for data loading in different environments.

Ø Involved in end-to-end production implementation and deployment.

Involved in creating the python scripts to run the SQL queries using python framework
