PROFESSIONAL SYNOPSIS:

Working in PACIFIC AN ACCESS HEALTH CARE as Medical Coder from 2018 to till date. Worked in various specialties in my coding journey which are as follows

· Ambulatory coding.

· E&M coding.

· Multispecialty denials.

· Stage 1 surgery coding.

· Infusion and IV coding.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Ø Performing Internal chart audits.

Ø Team management as solving queries and assigning work to colleagues so as to make sufficient use of human resource available for the project assigned

Ø Analysing medical records and identifies documentation deficiencies.

Ø Reviews and verifies documentation supports diagnoses, procedures and treatment results.

Ø Audits clinical documentation and coded data to validate documentation supports services rendered for reimbursement and reporting purposes

Ø Researches, analyzes, recommends, and facilitates plan of action to correct discrepancies and prevent future coding errors

Ø Provides ongoing training to staff as needed.

Ø Handles special projects as requested.

Ø Follows coding conventions. Serves as coding consultant to care providers.
