Software Engineer Optum 03/2022 - Present, Gurugram Currently I am working on designing and implementing webapp using NextJS for UI and Strapi for CMS. This will be a mono-repo that will further extended for different microproduct and analytical dashboard. Implemented type-ahead-search functionality using Elastic Search DB and built a Microservice to query data from it. Designed and implemented a Microservice using Spring Boot that provided REST Endpoints to query data from Elastic Search database. Associate Software Engineer Optum 09/2020 - 03/2022, Gurugram Designed and implemented a microservice using Spring Boot that prefetch the data from database and stores into Redis cache using Kafka Queue for eagle fetching of data. This helped in reducing the API's response time from 4 sec to 20 ms. My responsibilities included initial research, planning and designing of project, code implementation and deployment. Migrated existing REST API to GraphQL API. This prevented inefficient waterfall request and increased velocity of development while redesigning the front- end of product. Implemented the Kafka Elastic Source Connector that stores the kafka topic logs into elastic search.
