Decription

           This project is related to Fleet Managed Services. It is one of the biggest Fleet managed services company in Europe which provide all fleet reated services to the customer like Vehicle leasing, Rentals, Hires, Repairs etc. The purpose of the project is extracting the data from different admin system and loading the data to ODS (Operational Data Store) tables. Business will get the reports using this ODS data through ODI and other reporting tools, the business will take the necessary actions to improve the business with the help of reports.

Role & Responsibilities:

·        Involved in Extraction, Loading, and Transformation data to warehouse using ODI.

·        Experience in ODI designer, Topology, Operator, Master repository and work repository creation. 

·        Developed several Interfaces with Transformation Logics like Filters, Joins and Lookups.

·        Good experience of deploying jobs into testing environment.

·        Created Data servers, Physical and Logical schemas for multiple technologies like (File, Oracle SQL Server and Excel files) in Topology.

·        Very much involved in understanding the source system and target systems.

·        Strong Experience on creating workflow using package and objects like procedure, Interface, Variables, User Functions and Development of procedures, models and packages.

·        Experience on ODI Knowledge Modules like, LKM, IKM and JKM, CKM

·        Worked in SCD and CDC implementation and Used CDC features for Incremental data loads.

·        Created multiple Interfaces for full load and incremental loads and executed them accordingly.

·        Enhancement of ELT code/design, defect fixing- code fixes and data fixes.

Description

The system is based on sales and inventory information originating from various branches of the company. The Strategic Resource Group has proven success in providing customized retail and    wholesale warehousing and transportation analysis focusing on delivering efficiencies and improving services. To deliver superior warehousing and transportation solutions. The reporting system provides executives, senior managers and business analysts with access to accurate, consolidated information. It is also used for trend identification, forecasting and competitive analysis and target market research.

Role & Contribution:

·        Implemented best practices in Moving/Copying folders/mapping (Exporting and importing objects) between repositories and environments.

·        Extensively used ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) ELT tool to create Data ware Housing OLAP model.

·        Participated in the Installation and Configuration of ODI in the windows environment.

·        Creating several reverse engineering Models as per the requirements.

·        Mapped Logical resources to Physical resources in different contexts.

·        Imported and executed master jobs, scenarios in Execution repository.

·        Monitoring the Execution Logs in operator navigator.     

·        Imported master job and executed as per the requirements.

·        Creating Interface and packages by using global and local variables for a Job.

·        Creating Interfaces by using filters.

·        Implemented SCD Type 1 and SCD Type 2.

·        Loading metadata data from flat file source system into RDBMS target system.

·        Scheduling the scenarios by using ODI Scheduler.

·        Performed Data validation, Testing, Debugged the mapping for failed session.
