Need for Knowledge Management System

Here Technologies provides mapping & location data and related services to individuals and companies.

Organization had lot of information on learnings and best practices from projects. But the information was scattered across multiple systems, so employees were finding it difficult to identify and locate the information quickly.

Solution

•     A centralized Knowledge management portal was developed using Drupal 8, Apache Solr, Facets and Memcache technologies

•     Content governance provided by creating multiple content types and managed content lifecycle by using Moderation state, workflow and business rules modules. Also, provided custom content audit feature to keep content up to date and archive expired content.

•     Modules / Themes / Distributions used – Lightning, Field Group, Workflow, Content Moderation, Business Rules, Flags, SES Mailer, Paragraph, BEF – Better exposed filters, Bootstrap
