Project #3: Oct 2020 – June 2021

Project: Generate sales orders from Purchase orders (UiPath)

Objective: Download POs from orders queue in CRM, create cases, generate Sales Orders in Microsoft Dynamics AX and update cases in CRM. (Team Size: 3)

·        Developed the module of downloading POs from Dynamics CRM, creating cases, and sending them to the OCR Engine (ABBYY) to extract the desired information

·        Created Document Definition in ABBYY FlexiCapture for Invoices (FCI) tool and trained for 100 customer PO formats

·        Created custom templates also for POs with complex formats using ABBYY FlexiLayout Studio

·        Connected ABBYY project with the AX database for dynamic refresh of data

·        Developed another module of updating the cases with the relevant info like PO Number, Customer Name etc. obtained after OCR operation.

·        Provisioned the bots to send email notification with screenshots in the event of any unknown exception so that the business is not impacted

·        The bots make a summary of all the business rule/ system exceptions encountered, emails picked, and POs downloaded in excel sheets on every run.
