Perform daily system admin type tasks in support of the DB2 subsystem environments (e.g. DB2 ZPARM, GRANTS, etc.)

 

Perform Performance Tuning and Monitoring and maintain & support the DB2 subsystems in a Top Secret/RACF/ACF2 environment.

Perform all functions which are performed by a DB2 System Programmer (Senior), such as: - DB2 Installation, Migration, and PTF Installation with SMP/E.

- Create, manage and support DB2 Stored Procedures.

- Maintain the DB2 Catalog/Directory (Analysis, Backup, Recover, Reorg, etc).

- Performance Monitoring and Tuning DB2 at a subsystem level.

- Plan, analyze and implement DB2 Disaster Recovery procedures, practices and jobs
