Support Lead

This is an OBIA 11g support project . XXXX has implemented OBIA 11g for their reporting requirements. Various modules like Financial, Supply Chain, Procurement and Spend, Manufacturing and OTM are implemented. Ongoing usage of the system requires us to implement Enhancement Requests and Bug Fixes. Along with this we are also responsible for Daily Production Data Load monitoring.

Responsibilities:

·        Performing reverse engineering for the existing dimensions and facts

·        Analyzing the Enhancement Requests and providing effort estimate

·        Preparing the design documents for the approved ERs

·        Implement the code changes in ODI and OBIEE as per the design documents

·        Analyzing the tickets raised by the end users and resolving them to user’s satisfaction

·        Implementing the bug fixes in ODI and OBIEE as per the analysis on tickets

• Coordinating the migration of modified components including ODI and OBIEE
• Migrating the changes to Production and providing post production support

Upgrade Lead

This is an upgrade project for Church Pension Group OBIA application. Church Pension Group needed a technical upgrade from OBIEE 10g to 11g and OBIA 7.9.6.2 to OBIA 7.9.6.4. They had several customizations in the existing application which they wanted to carry forward to the new system.

Responsibilities:

·        Analyzing the existing custom ETLs/reports/dashboards

·        Performing reverse engineering for the existing dimensions and facts

·        Upgrading the OBIEE version from 10g to 11g using upgrade assistant

·        Exporting and importing the OBIA Data Warehouse schema from the old instance to the new instance

·        Upgrading the OBIA version from 7.9.6.2 to 7.9.6.4 using standard practices

·        Merging the customer’s version of ETLs with the new 7.9.6.4 Informatica repository

·        Merging the customer’s version of RPD and Webcat with the new 7.9.6.4 RPD and Webcat

• Setting up the security roles/groups in the upgraded system
• Preparing and executing the test cases for all the custom reports and dashboards
• Migrating the code from lower instances to higher instances
• Coordinating the User acceptance testing and fix any issues that were raised
• Migrating the changes to Production and providing post production support
