Project  Name: V3 Benefits Administration System

Overview of Product: Fund office takes contributions from Employees and their employers. Usually contributions are taken from Employees and Employers every month. Fund office needs to maintain a record of incoming funds and outgoing funds. (The money fund office gives as monthly checks every month upon Employees retirement). In addition fund office also needs to maintain work history and contribution history of each and every employee. Note that Work histories play an important role in finding out interest rates that may apply to contributions made by employees. Besides fund office employees need to view information of contribution records among 2-3 million records of data. To allow all these tasks flow smoothly, product followed modular design approach.

Client Description:

MPI administers retirement, insurance and other benefit programs for state and local government employees and retirees of the Wisconsin Retirement System. V3 Benefits System is used by MPI to maintain participant demographics, manage plans, process pension, SCP and disbursements. MPI also uses V3’s customer service referred as Employer Self Service and Member Self Service for extensive reporting capabilities.

Our benefits and innovative programs are designed to meet the triple aim of better care, better health, and lower costs while empowering our participants to better manage their health and healthcare.  

DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Responsible for the dealing with the problems, bug fixing and data fixing.

Ø Solving the UI and DB Critical, High Issues in product, pre-production, UAT and SIT environment.

Ø Develop Stored Procedure and Stored Functions.

Ø Coding client specific Procedures for Import & Export of data to product.

Ø Develop/Debug PL/SQL Procedure/Function’s to meet client’s requirement.

Ø Creation of views for business report implementations

Ø Testing of code functionality using testing environment.

Ø Communicate with Solution Analysts on client specification and their requirements.

Ø Created database Objects like tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers.

Ø Handling Core Reports and building of business logic using joins/sub queries and nested queries or ref cursors.

Ø Preparing Technical documents and Unit Test cases for bug fixes for day to day issues Analyze/Debug client and product issues.

Ø Created Tables, Views, Constraints

Ø Customizing the existing procedures for business requirement.

Ø Involvement in Configuration setup of different module.

Ø Have meetings with the Solution Analysts on a weekly basis to keep track of issues and work on JIRA     tickets based on client’s priority for projects smooth delivery.
