• Configuring and setup logical replication to achieve read load from slave.

• Performing database maintenance, backup and restoration.

• Writing Functions,Triggers,Indexing and optimization of queries.

• Automation of daily basis activities with Cronjob and shell scripts.

• Upgradation of both major and minor version.

It will help Ministry of Rural Development(MoRD) ,State Rural Livelihood Mission(SRLM) Administrative authorities ,CTSA/TSA and organizations(PIAs and other agencies) involved in managing the training and placement needs /demands of the rural youth. Such detailed need capturing of training and placement can lead to sizing the demand and preparation of training and placement plan.The portal acts as a single platform for MoRD, other Administrative authorities and Training Agencies to manage co - funding and implementation support to DDU - GKY in different States of the Country .

Role and Responsibility:-

• Postgresql installation, configuration and operations in various centers.

• Configuring and setup replication to achieve high availability.

• Performing database maintenance, backup and restoration.

• Writing Function, Trigger, Perl, Shell scripts and optimization of

  complex queries

• Writing scripts to perform database migration from old database structure to

  new database structure.

• Perform migration of database server from one major version to other.

• Writing scripts for legacy data upload from excel sheet to database
