Roles and Responsibilities: Day to day administration of live SQL servers Implementation of SQL Logins, Roles and Authentication Modes as part of Security Policies Running queries as per user request, Auditing backups Deploying new code to UAT and Production environments Rebuilding the indexes at regular intervals for better performance Monitoring and health checkup of all the MS SQL instances including daily backups Checking error log file , Event Viewer and log file viewer for any error and resolving the problem. Coordinating with the OS Team for the OS related issues. Time to time restoring the database backups as part of regular Audit Works asDBA that provides 24*7 production environmentfor multi dimensional clients. Able to work independently on task and even on deadlines. Scheduled jobs and alerts using SQL server agent
