British Telecom (BT-WLMS) (Dec 2016 – Till date)

Worked on BT WLMS project to migrate existing application from BT physical on premises data center to BT GS private cloud platform which is running in on apache cloudstack, and worked as Build, Release & SCM Engineer

Business Problem:

BT Wholesale acts as a reseller of base products and services to various communications providers through the "White Label Managed Services". Harlequins is a platform to provide these services to corporate and SME customers of Everything Everywhere. It will also migrate Orange's existing customer base onto the same platform to provide a unified and holistic customer service. One stop solution to cater to the entire UK market with respect to quality Broadband, Calls and Telephony services provide a White Label Managed System for Orange Mobile customers who are at par with the standards and specification of BT Wholesale.

 Roles and Responsibilities:

v Gathering existence infra system configuration and on-demine environment provisioning on private cloud with enhancement using terraform tool.

v Complete automation pipeline created for environment and decommissioning via Jenkins as orchestration tool.

v As a DevOps engineer responsible for design, implementation, support and troubleshooting for large scale infrastructure across cloud solution as cloudstack.

v Hands on knowledge with configuration management and automation tools (puppet).

v Strongly familiar with SVN & GIT repository, including branching and merging strategies.

v Provisioned and migrated applications tomcat 6/8, mule, Activemq, 3DB’s, intaglio application, buynet (payment gateway).

v Good understanding on monitoring system using sensu with web dashboard which is accessible to developer.
