Commissioning Engineer, Cimplified Controls  (Jan 2017 to Current)

Cimplified Controls is a authorized channel partner of GE, who are developing ground breaking technologies in Automation and Instrumentation and leading the next era in the Oil, Gas, Energy, Water and Power Control system.

Responsibilities

  
·         Maintaining, updating and commissioning of PLC Control system (Nano/Micro, Versamax, 90-30, Rx3i, Standalone CPU) and SCADA network (Cimplicity)

·        Design and development of Logic diagrams, Functional Blocks, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Graphic Screen, Faceplate & Tag Creation

·         Provide training & technical support to Operations and Maintenance team personnel
·         Responsible for projects from engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and testing completed systems

·        To assist in failure analysis and implement recommendations to avoid repetitive failures and provide engineering analysis in Process Instrumentation and Control, Network, Fire and Security systems.

·         To carry out functional loop check and troubleshooting of various field instruments 
·         Review and provide input on process system design, operation & control systems planning 
·         Participate in energy saving projects, cost control, budgeting, forecasting and on-going expenditures and maintaining spares inventory
·         Direct and supervise contractors to do field work related to instrumentation and control system
·         Preparation of monthly report, instrumentation Document, specifications, material requisitions and procurement of instruments
·         Conduct research and development for site needs.
·         Direct and coordinate Engineering for remodels and new buildings, control systems consultant contract and as-Built programs
·         Coordinate and maintain Process Instrumentation and Control guidelines, standards, and procedures and assure controls systems engineering meets local codes and regulations
