Summary

Role and Responsibility:

- Currently working as Associate Consultant and providing support on Backup Architecture for Backup tools such as Veeam, Avamar, PPDM vProtect, Networker, Commvault. Hold Expert knowledge in different backup solutions i.e Veeam, Avamar, PPDM vProtect, Networker, Commvault backup solution etc.

- I have Expert Knowledge in Cyber recovery solutions and Prevention techniques.

- I have Expert Knowledge of Multi

-Vandor storages, Storage networks, and implementations.

- I am able to perform projects individually.

- I am taking care of task such as Configuration, monitoring, administration, and maintenance of backup environment including Backup servers, backup storage, VTL, network configuration, and clients. I can Configure of backup solution on requested servers. I can Perform standard and test restores of requested files, folders, databases, and virtual machines.

-I can Performing disaster recovery tests Having at least basic knowledge of

- Virtualization, Windows and Unix OS administration, and VMware Having at least basic knowledge of Bash, Shell, and/or PowerShell scripting.

- Reporting department KPIs to top management.

- Representing the Backup & Restore team in cross-department projects. - Troubleshooting backup issues related to VMs and flat files.

- Troubleshooting backup issues related to different database backups i.e IBM DB2, Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases. Perform in line with agreed procedures, SLAs, and customers' expectations.

- Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, laws, and managers' orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration, and other internal regulations in the company, including the company's intellectual property protection. Previous Experience:

- Infrastructure Specialist for Apac Region Project. Tool (NetBackup & Rubrik)

• Provide L3 support for Enterprise Backup Software tools.

• Due diligence of all new patches/upgrades released by vendors.

• Monitor Backup & Storage Infrastructure Alerts and troubleshoot it, Including escalation to vendor.

• Perform root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems related.

• Implementation and configuration of Backup software, enterprise tape library and Data Domain

• Configuration and troubleshooting of VMware based backups.

• Configuration of Hyper-V backups through both checkpoint and agent-based method. Handle new backup configuration of filesystems, SQL and Oracle databases and NAS filesystems

• Troubleshooting backup failure and handling restore request.

• Create new NAS share and provision with applying adequate permission on share levels.

• Support maintenance like Code/Firmware upgrade during planned maintenance windows which may include weekend.

• Supporting team during SOX, ISO and EHNAC Quality Audit.

• Incident management including analysis, troubleshooting and resolution within defined SLAs.

• Major Incident Support with corrective and preventative actions planning.

• Maintaining Backup & Storage Infrastructure inventory information in CMDB.

• Follow Change management procedures from planning through execution and closure with relevant documentation.

• Support of resolution of critical Incidents also after regular business hours.

• Involved in enterprise level disaster recovery activities.
