Outline: Advisor Portal is a tool for SMA (Separately managed accounts) management. SMA account is a portfolio of assets managed by the firm for high worth retail clients.

Techologies: React JS, Next JS, Apollo

Role: Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Developed core UI components for the account opening application with React JS.

• Implemented state management using Apollo.

• Involved in planning, estimation, design and implementation.

Project: FX Analyzer (July 2018 - May 2021)

Client: Morgan Stanley

Outline: FX Analyzer is a tool that assists clients in reviewing their portfolio’s foreign currency exposure. The tool helps in calculating the market value of the client’s investments by fetching data from various source systems and then processes the data to provide exposure records that are used by clients to perform trades. Clients can use tools to decide on a hedging strategy and use a separate system (FX Matrix) to execute trades.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing the UI application using Angular.

• Involved in planning, estimation, design and implementation.

• Responsible for writing automation test cases using a selenium based test framework.

Project:  Morgan Stanley Performance Management (June 2013 - Mar 2018)

Client: Morgan Stanley

Outline: MSPM is a tool for analyzing the return on a set of investment decisions. The system calculates daily time weighted returns for the total portfolio and any group of assets within the client portfolio. Clients can also examine other information relevant to their investment decisions such as asset allocation, currency exposure and Cash flow data.

Techologies: Angular, Flex, Java, Spring

Responsibilities:

• Developed and led the technology upgrade of the application from Flex to angular.

• Created the backend web services for UI integration.
