QA Automation

Candidate Experience

The candidate should have a minimum of 3-6 years of working experience. The candidate will be

evaluated accordingly to their total work experience.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in manual and automation testing of Micro-services (API) or Web-based

application automation.

• Programming in any automation language experience of 2 years, preferably Python scripting

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration, and regression

• Should have relevant hands-on experience in creating test cases and converting test

plans/scenarios to test scripts with standard code practices.

• Experience in Cypress or Robot Framework Test Automation tool

• Programming skills in at least one of programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Java and

Protractor/Cypress.

• REST/SOAP Based APIs with JSON/XML validation experience

• Experience in SQL database to handle /verify all backend testing Oracle, MongoDB, or other

query tools

• Experience in working with Linux/Unix platforms

• Experience with GUI, API, Data Reconciliation, and Services testing

• Knowledge in web services and microservices

• Working knowledge of test management software and defect management using Jira,

Zephyr, Xray, Confluence

• Working knowledge of Container Tech: Docker

• Experience with source control management tools (GitHub, Jenkins)

• Building, customizing, deploying, and managing the test environment.

• Experience with agile software development cycle with Kanban or Scrum.

Following Skills will be an added advantage.

• Software Testing Certifications like ISTQB/ISEB

• Experience in designing and building API driven test frameworks
