Network Engineer (SD-WAN) Job Description

Position Description

The chance to work on leading edge technology projects helping our clients, based in India and overseas, to transform their environment and enable them to move at cloud speed. The candidate will be expected to perform a critical Network Design & Implementation Engineering role for SD-WAN solutions. 

Currently, the solution leveraged by Hararei for our clients is Silver-Peak for SD-WAN. 

We are looking for candidates with experience in designing and deploying WAN and WAN Optimization solutions.

Experience with the following a plus:

·      SD-WAN experience a major plus!!!, Silver Peak, Riverbed, or other SD-WAN and WAN Optimization solutions

·      Routing protocols, Enterprise Routing & Switching, IPv6

·      VPN (IPsec based site to site)

·      MPLS & Broadband

Hours & Environment

The typical hours are 40 hours/week, but occasionally working late might be required to update or maintain systems. This is often not possible during normal working hours without disrupting part of the customer’s business.

Most of the work will be based within an office, either at your own designated Hararei workstation or at clients’ sites. For client sessions and deployments/implementations you might have to travel away from home for short periods of time, but this depends on where the client is based. In some cases, this could be overseas. 

SD-WAN Certification Requirements:

·      Initial – Online training. Ongoing training/re-certification as necessary.

·      Job shadow – SD-WAN projects.
