WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Meet with clients to analyze their work practices and understand the nature of their businesses to properly
define needs and customize marketing solutions using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Lead the development of a strategic vision for project (product development, enhancements, etc) and
embrace the criticality of gaining its adoption
Make recommendations based on this analysis – estimate work effort, lead project scoping (as the sole
or primary representative), determine required resources, set a realistic schedule, and build proper
communication and governance plans (Project Management 101 if you will)
Maintain effective client relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the utmost
concern for stakeholder and project impact
Lead in the development and implementation of new Salesforce-based solutions
Understand Salesforce to access the best Salesforce technologies, like Lightning, Einstein and Bolt, so you
can put them to meaningful applications at scale

Roles and Responsibilities:
Utilization of relevant modules within Marketing Cloud Builder customer journeys Analytics of campaigns
and making recommendations
Personalization using AMPscript Implementing SFMC Configuration beyond declarative methods (beyond
point-and-click)
Setting up new modules Integrating with other clouds and third-party platforms
A good level of hands-on experience with SFMC Experience using Journey Builder with the ability to build
more complex journeys for common use cases. (Moderate to high complexity exp)
Some knowledge of AMPscript Ability to build data extensions Previous experience with integration projects
Experience with SFMC Connector
Good knowledge of APIs Advanced AMPscript knowledge
Email Specialist certification
Technical Savvy a plus
Marketing Cloud Functional Lead Experience
Functional expertise & experience using the Salesforce Marketing platforms
Previous experience working with Marketeers or Marketing Teams.
Certified Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Email Specialist, Consultant or Administrator
Certified Salesforce Pardot specialist or Consultant
Journey Builder Experience
Interaction Studio Experience
