Major Responsibilities:
- Patching of all the Microsoft systems, and ensure we follow IT standards and security policies
- Manage and maintain both on premise and cloud-based windows servers.
- Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding all windows issues.
- Responsible for automating manual tasks using new or existing tool sets.
- Patching and updating servers to the latest patches or OS versions.
- Responsible for troubleshooting application failures on Windows OS.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
- Keep system documentation and playbooks up to date and accurate
- Should have experience in MS CCM
- Must have M365 / Office 365 knowledge
- Developing tools and processes to improve the overall user experience
- Manage the Windows Support queue, and deal with escalations from both internal and external teams and act as subject matter expert in Windows OS issues.
- Provide administrative support with projects, vendors, and back office activities
- Activities associated with the support and maintenance of the infrastructure
- Perform routine OS analysis and evaluation on resource requirements necessary to maintain and/or expand service levels
- Part of the team include Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and Linux Server, enterprise application such as Active Directory, Exchange, performance monitoring, and software distribution.
- Evaluate, recommend, integrate and coordinate OS enhancements
- Activities associated with the support and maintenance of the infrastructure
- Providing support to production service requests and incidents and perform routine maintenance and support activities
- Identify and manage risks. Recognize issues and proactively create ways to mitigate their impact
- Part of the team responsible for Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and Linux Server, enterprise application such as Active Directory, Exchange, performance monitoring, and software distribution.
