Job Description

  • Around 6+ years of IT Experience working on Big Data technologies and 5 years of experience working on Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka
  • Good understanding of core Kafka concepts
  • Experience in implementing Kafka as a Messaging Service for distributed messaging and Integration
  • Experience collaborating with Operations and Support teams to setup Kafka topics, Streams, Schema registry
  • Experience in configuring Source and Sink Kafka connectors for integration with various systems
  • Experience in setting up streams, tables using KSQLdb
  • Good understanding of Confluent Kafka components of Control Center, REST Proxy
  • Strong knowledge of Java or Python is essential
  • Good understanding of data transformation using connectors and streams
  • Experience in working on Cloud platforms is a plus
  • Self-starter and strong communication skills are required
