Data Engineer

Role :

• Relevant Exp. 3+ years into Data Engineering

• Experience developing in the AWS platform using Lambda, API Gateway, and Python (data processing)

• Experience developing Data pipelines (any ETL tool, preferred Matillion)

• Experience developing solutions using AWS Cloud-based data platforms.

• Experience providing support to direct end-users and troubleshooting operational issues

• Experience with data extraction and analysis using complex SQL

• Experience working with multiple disparate data sources

• Experience leading the large-scale enterprise-level implementation of BI projects

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Understanding of data Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) process design and management

• Passion to learn new technology

• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

• The ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate simultaneous tasks/projects

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• The ability to work directly with customers to solve data accessibility needs

• The ability to work in iterative development and delivery model

• Experience with AWS Cloud data platforms

• Added advantage of having experience in Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI

Responsibilities:

• Code build, review and mentor other data engineers

• Working with Business Systems Analysts, and directly with data consumers to develop data solutions for acquiring, managing, and publishing data

• Partnering and collaborating with a diverse IT team including business analysts, architects, developers, or vendors

to create or optimize innovative technologies and solutions

• Design and create processes for contextualizing, cleaning, aggregating, and transforming data, making it better

and more useful to the business

• Understanding data infrastructure/technology landscape

• Decompose high-level business needs into functional needs by understanding problems and determining data needs.

• Present information to senior leaders

• Manages the backend of the environment and supports the stability of the environment

• Support of Data flow and connection points upstream and downstream

• Work with customers to develop enhancements for established reports
