AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Description

1. DevOPs tools and scripting .Has good knowledge in Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Shell scripting
2. Experience with containerization and virtualization (Kubernetes, Docker,ECS,EKS).
3. Building and configuring Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Core-DNS, Kube Proxy, Ingress, etc.
4. Experienced with deploying stateful applications / Databases on Kubernetes
5. Prior knowledge of resource management, Security, Storage/persistent volume, Load management.
6. Experienced with monitoring frameworks for Kubernetes.
7. Experience with the core AWS services such as EC2,s3,vpc etc
8. Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.)
9. Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, primarily administration of Linux based distros like Debian, Enterprise Linux (Oracle Linux or RHEL).
10. Good to have experience in handling multiple Kubernetes clusters under single umbrella (Kubernetes Federation).
11. Good knowledge of automation and configuration management framework like Ansible, terraform. CloudFormation etc.
12. Automating the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and more. Managing deployments and rollbacks of applications.
13. Troubleshooting and optimizing containerized workload deployments for clients.
14. Should be able to understand different programming languages and write scripts. Proficient in Unix scripting, patching and security.
15. Experience in Performance Management of Servers, Storage, Databases, Applications tuning and optimization.
16. Evaluate new technology options and vendor products to use for distributed system.
17. Establish and manage CI/CD processes -through Jenkins, Bitbucket ideally with low-code and no-code platforms and ELT/ETL tools entailing a Snowflake.
18. Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security
19. Good understanding of application integration with SSO tools
20. Deep experience in root cause analysis and fixing issues with Dev, QA, UAT, Preproduction production systems
