5+ years of experience in Application Performance Monitoring [APM] with strong knowledge in Datadog is a must
Knowledge of AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or any additional APM tools is an added advantage.
Experience & knowledge in integrating APM solutions with third-party tools like JIRA, SNOW, Remedy, Slack & any notification systems.
Configuring the alerts, setting up the dashboards, creating the reports, and data trend analysis in an APM tool.
Proficient with application server instrumentation, Real User Monitoring [RUM], and Synthetic Monitoring.
Experience / Knowledge in migrating the monitoring from traditional to any modernized solutions.
Ability to recommend baseline monitoring thresholds and performance monitoring KPIs and SLAs.
Experience in gathering and organizing large amounts of data to use for instrumentation into an Enterprise monitoring solution.
Experience in creating the migration plan, approach, design, and preparing technical documentation.
Ability to provide application monitoring recommendations using the APM tool.
Responsible for driving performance, availability, and stability improvements of critical business applications and integrations to ensure optimal end-user experience by working closely with Application Development, Infrastructure, Database, and Middleware teams.
Frontend application performance monitoring of RUM applications as well as creating and monitoring Synthetic transactions
Responsible for monitoring application stability trends (cloud/on-Prem) and identifying opportunities to improve performance and/or availability.
Working with Incident/ Problem manager and helping drive the RCA by providing engineering and tool expertise.
Monitor application performance, and optimize performance bottlenecks and usage to create an application capacity model.
Help optimize system components such as CPU/Memory/Disk/Network & OS/Application software for maximizing the computer resources utilization.
Knowledge of any modern high-level programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, etc is an added advantage.
Applies appropriate performance testing technologies to meet the short and long-term goals of the testing organization with a focus on improving overall testing efficiency.
Improve the reliability and repeatability of performance testing.
Documentation of process & standard operating procedures
