Job Summary:

The is a hands-on, hard-core, software engineering role based at the DDC in Bangalore, but there may be an occasional requirement to travel.

Geofield client is a map-based mobile work management solution that enables field workers to access and update the enterprise data (Work order /Assets) . Work management done through work orders which can be raised through CRM system or through scheduling systems. Supports Windows, IOS and Android
The person should be a DevOps lead with experience in Continuous deployment paradigm responsible for setting up the project from scratch and building a team around and leading the technical delivery. Mentoring team-mates in latest technologies and methods is essential.
An ideal candidate should be a self-motivated, self-driven and quality focussed individual with a desire to excel and should be currently playing the Technical lead role. You will currently be doing active development and very close to technology and should have a desire to lead from the front.Job title:

Primary Skills: Azure Deployment, ADO, Docker, Kubernetes, C#, .NET Core, CI-CD with GIT, Micro Services, APIM, Terraform/Ansible.
Secondary Skills: Scripting, Micro Frontend, test automation using Cypress/Selenium (Preferred)

Recognized hands on expertise in setting up continuous development/deployment using Azure.
Excellent Analytical and Development Skills
Experience of Microsoft Azure tools.
Ability to quickly understand complex technical processes
Excellent problem-solving skills
Solid architectural awareness and understanding of performance considerations
Experience of working in distributed teams
Experience of working with Product Owners within an Agile / Scrum environment
Strong experience of working within a Continuous Integration Pipeline environment
Solid understanding of the need for customer data security and GDPR compliance

Support CI/CD tools integration/ operations/ change management, and maintenance.
Support full automation of CI/ Testing.
Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
On-board/ train and support developers from source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, deployment based on tools usage and policies, standards.
Enable DevOps by moving code from Dev/ Test to Staging and Production. Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
Being a part of requirement discussions and participates in elicitation of functional requirements.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Work towards improving team’s performance in terms of skills and deliverables.
