Description

Job Description

  • Should have 5+ years of hands-on experience as a QA engineer and at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python automation
  • Experience in testing both web application and API automation testing
  • Basics of Selenium/automation testing is mandatory. Should know the basics of web elements, object identification, challenges faced during test automation, etc.
  • Python scripting language, API automation, hands-on experience on JSON, XML, backend automation
  • Quick learner
  • Experience with web applications including web standards, best practices on python automation, and pytest framework.
  • Hands-on experience with code repositories like GIT or Bitbucket
  • Should have excellent debugging skills with web applications including web standards. Should be well versed with negative testing and have different ideas on how to break the system.
  • Should be able to create test cases in detail and execute them.
  • Good knowledge and exposure to all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and STLC
  • Keen analytical skills and a self-starter in learning new functional and technical skills required for effective testing
  • Ability to perform as an individual contributor with strong leadership qualities
  • Good communication(written and verbal) , interpersonal skills, and team coordination skills

Other points which need to be considered:

  • Hands-on experience in SDLC documentation like Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specification Document, Test cases, Release Document and Help document etc.,
  • Experience in Manual, Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing
