Role/Position- Automated Engineer-QA

Number of Position-10

Year of Experience: 3-5 years of IT experience

Work Location – Multiple locations (Pune, Bangalore, Mysore, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai), IN.

Expected Joining Date- Immediate Joining.

Job Responsibilities

●       Collaborate with developers, product owners, quality assurance engineers, and other stakeholders on software projects.

●       Understand and analyse software requirements to create test scenarios and test cases.

●       Develop, execute and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.

●       Create and update automated test scripts for automated testing web/mobile applications.

●       Create and update automated test scripts for testing APIs/ Web Services.

●       Execute automated tests in stand-alone or in a CI/CD environment.

●       Document and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects and work with development team to troubleshoot issues.

●       Support holistic testing for software releases.

Requirements

Technical

○     Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

○        Solid programming skills with C#/Java or scripting language like JavaScript

○     understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall/Agile/Scrum)

○     Understanding of Web Application Architecture, design patterns

○     Understanding of Automation frameworks with Selenium + JUnit/ TestNG or Selenium + MsTest/NUnit/xUnit

○        Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript is a must

○     Knowledge of data interchange tools like JSON/XML

○     Knowledge SQL query techniques and the ability to create SQL joins between multiple tables to gather and verify data

○        Performance testing experience in BlazeMeter, JMeter.

○     Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript and automation frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber through the field of study, past internships or self-driven projects is a plus.

○     Experience in API testing

○     Software testing certifications like ISTQB or equivalent is a plus.

○     Software Test Automation course/diploma/certification is a plus.
