Manual Testing Engineer

Profile Summary:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 4 to 6 years of software testing and/or software development experience of which at least 3+ years working experience in HPQC ALM, UFT, and UiPath. Manual testing experience using HPQC ALM is a must have skill. 2+ years of working experience in usage and manual testing of the Teamcenter PLM application and its modules is a must have skill.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Working experience in Project Management, Software Testing and Quality Assurance
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles.
• Should be excellent at gathering requirements from client and understanding client application landscape/systems, impact analysis etc. with the working knowledge of testing concepts, defect management, risk management.
• Worked on different stages of testing including System Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing and QA activities including Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), Defect Life Cycle and Agile
• Expertise in Functional, Sanity, Smoke and Regression Testing.
• Designing Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
• Writing, executing and maintaining test scripts.
• Experience in scripting languages such as VB Script, JavaScript, or similar is a plus.
• Experience in Automated Framework development - Data Driven, Hybrid etc. - is a plus.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple priorities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, global, and dynamic environment.
• Certifications in quality assurance such as ISTQB or similar is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
• Customer service orientation with strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Application Experience: Teamcenter PLM (Mandatory)
• Testing Tools: 
  • HPQC ALM, UFT, UiPath, LoadRunner as Test Management Tool.
  • Proficiency in manual testing using HPQC ALM (Mandatory).
  • Stored and Executed Test scripts in Test Plan module of HPQC ALM (Mandatory)
