Senior Data Modeler

As a Data Modeler (Domain :Healthcare Payer) , will be responsible for:

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support the data analysis and business intelligence activities within the healthcare domain.This includes models for complex datasets like patient records, insurance claims, provider data, etc.
• Contribute to the development of strategies and architectures for data management, quality, governance, and warehousing
• Ensure data integrity and quality by establishing data standards and protocols.
• Optimize and tune data models to improve performance and scalability of databases, data warehouses, and data lakes. This is crucial in environments using tools like Databricks and SQL.
• Oversee the Business Semantic Layer to ensure that it accurately represents business logic and facilitates effective data analysis and reporting.
• Utilize Power BI and other tools to create reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

Skills

• 12 +years experience  in Data Modeling Tools and Techniques: Proficient in using advanced data modeling tools and understanding best practices for data layering, particularly in managing the Business Semantic Layer.
• 6+ years experience in Oracle ,SQL ,Databricks SQL for big data analytics, Power BI for data visualization, and other relevant tools.
• 3 + years ledge of Data Virtualization: Experience with data virtualization tools to facilitate the integration and management of data from disparate sources without replicating it.
• 10 + years in SQL for complex querying, data manipulation, and performance tuning.
• 6+ years Experience in Healthcare domain with understanding of healthcare data systems, payer processes, and regulations, which is critical for effective data modeling in this sector.
