Job Title: Vista ViewPoint Senior Developer

Location: India, any location

Job Type: Contract 10 months and expecting to extend further

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Vista ViewPoint Senior Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Vista ViewPoint Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions within the Vista ViewPoint environment. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of Vista ViewPoint (ERP) with existing systems and optimizing its performance to meet the evolving needs of our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Vista ViewPoint environment to support business processes and objectives.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Customize and extend functionality within Vista ViewPoint through scripting, programming, and configuration to enhance system capabilities.
4. Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
5. Conduct thorough testing of Vista ViewPoint solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
6. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to Vista ViewPoint applications.
7. Document technical specifications, configurations, and processes to maintain comprehensive system documentation.
8. Stay updated with the latest developments in Vista ViewPoint and related technologies to propose innovative solutions and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. &+ years of hands-on experience working with Vista ViewPoint, including customization, configuration, and integration.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or VBScript.
4. Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
5. Experience with system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Vista ViewPoint.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
7. Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
8. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in Vista ViewPoint development or administration.
2. Experience with ERP systems or accounting software.
3. Familiarity with web services and API integrations.
4. Knowledge of industry-specific best practices and regulations (preferably Construction, manufacturing).
