Role Description

This is a full-time role for a DBT Data Engineer at Blumetra Solutions. As a DBT Data Engineer, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks associated with data engineering, data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load), data warehousing, and data analytics. This is an on-site role located in Hyderabad, India.

Qualifications

• 5+ years implementing data pipelines or data-intensive assets using Python, Pyspark.
• 2+ years creating modular data transformation using an orchestration engine like airflow
• 2+ years building cloud-native solutions in AWS, especially with S3, Glue, Lambda, Step functions, Athena
• Good hands on experience working with Athena.
• 3+ years experience on DBT
• Expert knowledge of working with Jinja templates.
• Good knowledge on Cloud Databases, especially Snowflake.
• Very good Data analysis skills in SQL. Able to develop complex SQL Statements and tune them for performance when required.
• Experience in the data modelling plan, analysis, design and build effort.
• Experience in ETL/ELT framework.
• Understanding of data warehouse and traditional database concepts
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
