Role and Responsibilities |
· Content Creation: Write clear, concise, and engaging product descriptions, specifications, and other relevant content for various products within the organization's catalog. · Data Entry: Enter product data accurately into the PIM system, including but not limited to product names, SKUs, pricing information, and categorization. · Content Enrichment: Enhance product content by adding images, videos, technical specifications, and other relevant information to improve the overall customer experience and drive sales. · Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of product data to identify and correct inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or missing information within the PIM system. · Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and product management to ensure alignment on product content strategies and initiatives. · Compliance: Ensure product content adheres to relevant industry standards, regulations, and brand guidelines. · Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in product content management to continually enhance processes and drive efficiency. · Troubleshooting: Address any issues related to product data management within the PIM system, including data synchronization, integration, and troubleshooting technical issues. |
Required Skills |
· 5+ years of proven experience in content creation, preferably within a retail or e-commerce environment. · Basic Understanding of Front-End (UI) and Back-End Technologies (Server Side, Cloud, Rest API, Middleware, PIM). · Effective articulation of the issue in radars/issue tracker · Leaving a paper trail when resolving issues · Clear updates in team meetings, track check-ins etc. · Interactions/Collaboration with cross-functional partners and teams. · 100% accurate deployment of Data/ Content to avoid any misinformation on consumer-facing websites. · Checking conflicts with other specialists · Familiarity with leading Product Information Management systems and data management principles. · Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace. · Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. · Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices is a plus. · Required to think quickly and accurately. · Being flexible and open to change, adjusting approach according to different situations · Have a holistic view of the impact. · Should be aware of risks to other placements/areas of the store & App · Attentive and good listener. · Confident while clarifying questions. · Teamwork and collaboration.
